Daily Declaration

Nothing in this world

Can come against me

Because my God

Is greater than anything

Of this world!

♦~♦

I will stand in faith

Knowing that God

Holds me in His hands

♦~♦

I will not give in to fear

Or anxiety

Or frustration

Or depression

♦~♦

I will live out

The fruits of the Spirit

And I will prosper

In greater measure

Every day

Bruises and Scars (Faith Poem)

Why do we hide

Each bruise

And each place

Where we are scarred?

*

Are we ashamed?

Do we believe that we are marred?

*

Our Heavenly Father

Wants to heal each bruise

And each scar

The ones on the surface

And the ones inside

That we bury on purpose

*

Our scars and bruises

Need not define who we are

And they should never

Cause us to be ashamed

*

While we heal

We need remember

We can walk confidently

In a love that’s real

The love of our Lord

Even when others

Seem to have no love to give

Coronavirus and Emotional Thinking

As you have probably heard, much of the world is in a state of alarm over an illness called the Coronavirus.

I encourage you to be wary of emotional thinking/decision-making concerning this outbreak. Acting out of emotions like fear, worry, hyper-control, or phobia can be dangerous for your mental, physical, and spiritual health.

I am not telling you to ignore this current trouble, but I am telling you that you can plan and prepare in a calm and logical manner.

I also want you to know that God will take care of you and your loved ones when you walk in the power of His Kingdom and listen closely to Him. He is our Hope, Healing, Peace, and so much more.

Under the Waves (Faith Poem)

At times in life

I feel like I’m drowning fast

Surrounded by darkness and strife

Convinced that I won’t last

♦~♦

Embracing fear and doubt

A current force pulls me under

I can’t seem to get out

My final blunder

♦~♦

With all the strength that remains

I cry out to the Lord

And all that restrains

Falls away

And my heart soars

♦~♦

From beneath the waves crashing

And the wind blowing

I can breathe by the Lord’s provision

And I witness the stars shining

Challenging Question From Holy Spirit: No Fear (Pt. II)

There are many scriptures in the Bible that tell us not to be afraid. I have included a number of them below (from the AMP version).

(2 Timothy 1:7)- For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

(Isaiah 35:4)- Say to those who are of a fearful and hasty heart, Be strong, fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance; with the recompense of God He will come and save you.

(John 14:27)- Peace I [Jesus] leave with you; My peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

(Joshua 1:9)- Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

(Psalms 23:4)- Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

(Psalms 27:1)- The Lord is my Light and my Salvation- whom shall I fear or dread? The Lord is the Refuge and Stronghold of my life- of whom shall I be afraid?

I found the chapter/verse of the scriptures at the following web-page

and posted the translation from my personal Bible (The Everyday Life Bible which contains notes and commentary by Joyce Meyer). If you want to see more scriptures that discuss fear, I recommend taking a look at the full list!

Scriptures like the ones I have included in this post are true for you today and every day. You do not need to fear!

We are the children of the One True God, and He calls us His own! We never have to be afraid because we can always call upon our Heavenly Father. When fear tries to creep in, that is an attempt of the enemy to break us down and drive a wedge between us and God. Our raw humanity is all too eager to cling onto fear rather than trust in the Lord . We cannot allow fear to overtake us! We do not want even a single seed of fear in our minds!

When you feel fear or worry coming on, think about how much God loves you and how you can trust Him to take care of every situation!

It is also very beneficial to talk to the Lord/Holy Spirit and read the Bible!

As your sibling in Christ, I want you to live your best blessed life! I hope this discussion of the challenging question I posted a few days ago has helped you!

Feel free to comment, and please share this post with people you know who could benefit from it!
