Challenging Question From Holy Spirit: Forgiveness of Sin (Pt. II)

When Jesus was on the cross, He received stripes (lashes) so that we can walk in complete healing and wholeness, and He shed His blood to cover every sin that had been committed and every sin that would be committed in the future. When we believe in Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are made righteous in God’s eyes through Jesus’ sacrifice.

Sinning can cause spiritual, mental, and physical harm (which I will discuss in greater detail in a later post) and that is one of the main reasons why Jesus’ sacrifice on our behalf is so incredible.

When we commit a sin, all we have to do to be released from it is to repent and ask the Lord for forgiveness.

So, no matter what sins you have in your life, know that the blood of Jesus washes away all, and that you need only repent and receive the Lord’s forgiveness to be freed from your sin.

Scripture Passage for This Topic (AMP)

Romans 8:1-4

Therefore [there is] now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit. (2) For the law of the Spirit of life in Jesus Christ has freed me from the law of sin and death. (3) For God has done what the Law could not do, being weakened by the flesh. Sending His own Son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, condemned sin in the flesh, (4) So that the righteous and just requirement of the Law might be fully met in us who live and move not in the ways of the flesh but in the ways of the Spirit.

Challenging Question From Holy Spirit: No Fear (Pt. II)

There are many scriptures in the Bible that tell us not to be afraid. I have included a number of them below (from the AMP version).

(2 Timothy 1:7)- For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

(Isaiah 35:4)- Say to those who are of a fearful and hasty heart, Be strong, fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance; with the recompense of God He will come and save you.

(John 14:27)- Peace I [Jesus] leave with you; My peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

(Joshua 1:9)- Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

(Psalms 23:4)- Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

(Psalms 27:1)- The Lord is my Light and my Salvation- whom shall I fear or dread? The Lord is the Refuge and Stronghold of my life- of whom shall I be afraid?

I found the chapter/verse of the scriptures at the following web-page

and posted the translation from my personal Bible (The Everyday Life Bible which contains notes and commentary by Joyce Meyer). If you want to see more scriptures that discuss fear, I recommend taking a look at the full list!

Scriptures like the ones I have included in this post are true for you today and every day. You do not need to fear!

We are the children of the One True God, and He calls us His own! We never have to be afraid because we can always call upon our Heavenly Father. When fear tries to creep in, that is an attempt of the enemy to break us down and drive a wedge between us and God. Our raw humanity is all too eager to cling onto fear rather than trust in the Lord . We cannot allow fear to overtake us! We do not want even a single seed of fear in our minds!

When you feel fear or worry coming on, think about how much God loves you and how you can trust Him to take care of every situation!

It is also very beneficial to talk to the Lord/Holy Spirit and read the Bible!

As your sibling in Christ, I want you to live your best blessed life! I hope this discussion of the challenging question I posted a few days ago has helped you!

Feel free to comment, and please share this post with people you know who could benefit from it!

Knowing the Truth

IMG-1326.jpgDo you know God’s truth?

As believers, we need to make God’s truth our truth. If we do, we can live the lives that God destined for us to live. We cannot rely upon our what we see, feel, and hear to find God’s truth. The enemy is out to deceive us, and our fleshly desires often land us in more trouble than good.

The two reliable sources we have for finding God’s truth is the Bible and the Father. Both reveal that there are many good things that are available to us as children of the Most High God. For example, if you are struggling with a physical infirmity or mental hindrance, and you make God’s truth your truth, you can declare that ALL of your sicknesses, diseases, physical/mental handicaps, and more were all healed when Jesus bore his stripes on the cross. Once you declare this (or any of the promises God makes to His children), your life WILL change to reflect what it should. The lies of the enemy (which, if you can believe it, do include sicknesses and diseases) will break as your words release spiritual power!

I encourage you to dig deep into the Word and practice hearing from the Lord to learn about all of the promises that should be coming to fruition in your life!
