It’s Day 7 of the 21-Day Mental and Spiritual Health Series!
In order to maintain our mental and spiritual health, we need to meditate on the truth. To do that, we need to make sure to identify and dispel any lies that we are holding on to. There are many different kinds of lies that we can keep in our minds, such as lies about ourselves, lies about others, lies about God, and lies about creation. Today, we will start with the lies that we may believe about ourselves. Below is a list of some of these lies that we need to dispel and the truths that we can replace them with.
Lie: I am unworthy of God’s love.
Truth: God’s love for me is unconditional and immeasurable.
Lie: I don’t need God’s help.
Truth: If I work on my own, I will fall short. When I partner with the Lord, I am sure to succeed.
Lie: I am not strong enough.
Truth: God will give us the strength that we need. We just have to ask for it and declare it.
Lie: I am not smart enough.
Truth: God will give us the wisdom that we need. We just have to ask for it and declare it.
Lie: I am not beautiful/handsome.
Truth: We are all made in the image of God. God sees us as His wonderful creation. We need to pray that we will see ourselves as God sees us- redeemed, forgiven, and beautiful.

Ephesians 2:10 (ESV)- For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Thank you for your grace, your kindness, and your mercy. You are the One True God, and you are worthy of all honor and praise. I pray that you would reveal to me any lies that I am believing about myself and that you will help me to dispel those lies and replace them with truth. I decree and declare that I will walk in greater light every day.
In Jesus’ mighty name I pray,
