It’s Day 6 of the 21-Day Mental and Spiritual Health Series!
I believe that the best way to address today’s topic is directly -If we do not actively seek to maintain our mental and spiritual health- we will likely face consequences.
In the natural realm, when we operate with mental and/or spiritual instability, we will face many risks. These risks include isolating ourselves from the world and negatively impacting our relationships and careers. Our mental and spiritual health is not only important in our faith- it is a means by which we can live our best lives and help others to live their best lives.
The spiritual realm also holds risks for those who operate with mental and/or spiritual instability. The Enemy will try to use us to complete his evil desires if we do not guard our mental and spiritual health. He will use negative thoughts and emotions to influence us and to help him steal, kill, and destroy. When I say this, there are many levels of meaning to it. The Devil certainly supports actual stealing, killing, and destroying, but he also supports actions such as the stealing of innocence, the act of killing someone’s dream, and/or the destruction of someone’s joy.
Building a strong relationship with the Lord, praying, reading the Word, and making positive confessions are all great ways to improve upon our mental and spiritual health. Doing so will help us to avoid the risks that are associated with mental and spiritual instability.

Your ways are higher and your Will is greater than any that I could ever know. I am honored to serve you and to praise your holy Name. I pray for continuing guidance for how to improve upon my mental and spiritual health. I pray that I will clearly hear the voice of of the Holy Spirit and that I will have the wisdom and strength to act upon the instructions that I receive. I decree and declare that each day will be an opportunity to experience an even greater measure of your presence, your power, and your grace.
In Jesus’ mighty name I pray,
