Intrusive, stubborn, and unhelpful thoughts that can plague us throughout the day may stem from a spirit of Judgement. If you find yourself judging others, be it once or several times in a day, it is good to take pause and choose to bless them instead.
When you judge others, you let a spirit of judgement into your heart. You, yourself, are not immune from the effects of this spirit. If you are struggling with a persistent negative thought about yourself, you may need to give up a spirit of judgement to the Lord to find your freedom.
Try to catch judgmental thoughts as they form (and ideally beforehand). This way, your heart will become more closely aligned with the Lord’s, and you will take a judgmental spirit out of the equation when it comes to managing your thought life.
